This home in Sea Point was designed as a quiet retreat.
The intention was to create an interior that acknowledged its setting while remaining deeply personal to the people who live here.
The brief from both of them was simple: a holiday home by the sea, without the traditional clichés. A space layered with the things they love most: art, books, and birds.

Designed as a calm retreat from the pace of the city, this renovation was about creating spaces that feel grounded, layered and deeply restorative. Natural textures, earthy tones and soft light work together to create the feeling of sitting on safari — quiet mornings, shaded terrace and interiors that blur the line between indoors and out.
